Abstract

A spectrophotometric study has been made on the cobalt-3-nitroso-2, 6-pyridinediol reaction. The yellow complex formed has an absorption maximum at 411 nm and a molar absorptivity of 3.4·10⁴ l mole⁻¹ cm⁻¹. The system follows Beer's law.
