Abstract
This article is a profile of Susan Schultz Rose, a pioneering woman theological library director at Asbury Theological Seminary from 1949 until 1978. The author Dr. Onva Boshears was a former associate, who went on to become Dean of Library Science and the University Libraries at the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Boshears focuses on the seminal approach of Susan Schultz Rose to library administration, as well as her invaluable mentorship in his first professional assignment.
