Abstract
Paratanais waltsikorai sp. nov. is described from specimens collected from shallow-water habitats in Bermuda. It represents the second species of the tanaidacean genus to be named from the northwest Atlantic. It is distinguished from the other species of Paratanais by a combination of characters, including the distinctive shape and setation of antennal articles 2 and 3.
