Abstract
In this study, a content analysis of scholarly articles concerning projects using Dublin Core was conducted. Areas addressed include whether the projects used a simple metadata schema, whether they were interdisciplinary, whether they were international in scope, and whether they utilized additional metadata schemas. The article addresses the question of whether catalogers of Internet resources are utilizing the Dublin Core as the creators expect. Included is an annotated bibliography detailing some projects using the Dublin Core, with descriptor terms assigned at the end of each annotation. © Copyright (c) by The Haworth Press, Inc.
