Abstract
This research study examined the impacts of U.S. travelers' healthy-living attitudes on their travel information search strategies. A survey of 520 U.S. travelers revealed differences, based on their healthy-living attitudes, in the importance which individuals attached to travel-related information as they plan their leisure vacations. Individuals who have positive attitudes toward exercise and nutrition tend to be active travel information seekers by valuing more various sources of travel information. © 2006 by The Haworth Press, Inc.
