Abstract
Chapter 13 is positioned in Boccia in Canada, where Coach César is the head coach of the Canadian boccia team and has taken players to four Paralympic Games. Despite there being a clear framework for ethics across Canadian sport, this case examines how unforeseen circumstances, time constraints, and competition pressures can cause ethical dilemmas for coaches. Coach César outlines the setting for this quandary, considers his options, and explains his decision-making in relation to the ethical framework he must work within.
