Abstract
Filing an antidumping petition can be ethical or unethical in practice, and this article provides a somewhat unique view for judging the ethicality of a petition. The approach uses the perspective of an ethical society and asks what this type society would expect from business. It is then applied to specific examples of petition filings, and to general classes of filings, to illustrate its use and provide conclusions.
