Abstract
The article offers information on the Mola Mola SeaBED-class autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV), whose primary target is to survey specific targets as deep as 2,000 meters, which has been acquired by the National Institute for Undersea Science and Technology (NIUST). It states that an iXSea SAS Photonic Inertial Navigation System (PHINS) configured as a gyrocompass was added, to improve the quality of attitude and hearing measurement.
