Current Parental Attachment: Its Relation to Perceived Psychological Distress and Relationship Satisfaction in College Students

Abstract
The relation of current parental attachment to symptoms of psychological distress and satisfaction in romantic relationships was examined in a sample of undergraduate students. Current parental attachment was found to be significantly associated with psychological distress. No such association was found between parental attachment and relationship satisfaction.
