Migrating IRs: From "Free" to "Fee"

This presentation will cover our experiences at The University of Texas at Tyler with migrating from an open source IR (DSpace) to a vendor hosted IR (Digital Commons). We will go over the reasons behind the migration, differences between the software, changes in policies and workflow, and pros and cons of each. We will also discuss whether the transition to Digital Commons has benefited our efforts in promoting the IR across campus.
