Abstract
These stories attempt to accurately depict the journalism industry in central New York around the time of the Trump Administration. The stories also intersect in unique ways, with recurring characters developed through an unusual, abstract chronology. Finally, these six stories — told from the perspective of various characters between 2015 and 2018 — are the beginning stories of a larger collection, a planned composite novel that further develops the characters, the city of Tunis, New York, and the political, socioeconomic, and metaphysical conflicts explored below.
