Abstract

In this collection, characters often face interior struggles such as past lives, abusive upbringings, dead partners, and relationship struggles. A Minor Place concerns loneliness and existentialism set with a melancholy, southern gothic setting. Characters toil with their psychological state within a shared and collective universe of the unknown. The characters found within A Minor Place deal with sensitive issues such as loss, isolation, and overcoming their difficulties. A Minor Place implements narratives to showcase a "minor” tonality and coloration and style to accompany this titular minor place.
