SLIS Connecting, the journal of The University of Southern Mississippi's School of Library and Information Science (SLIS), is an open access, refereed e-journal. The purpose of SLIS Connecting is to share news, information, and research with LIS students, alumni, faculty, professionals, and scholars through regular columns, selected faculty publications, invited student papers, and peer-reviewed student research papers. There are no fees associated with reviewing or publishing in SLIS Connecting and no fees associated with downloading articles and columns. The authors published in SLIS Connecting are the copyright holders of their articles.
