Description
In the Spring of 2022, the University Libraries at the University of Memphis began utilizing bepress Digital Commons to create a Colleges and Schools collection with the primary purpose of highlighting faculty publications. Over the course of four months, the University of Memphis added over 17,000 publications to the Colleges and Schools collection. This presentation will highlight the process of building the communities and series, harvesting the works, and organizing the metadata. The presentation will also focus on the ongoing efforts to keep the collection up-to-date and the many challenges that have emerged since the collection's initial development.
