Abstract

This talk covers the history of the Grant Association and gives some behind-the-scenes information about the development of the presidential library at MSU. David Nolen is a professor at Mississippi State University. He is an Associate Editor/Reference Librarian for the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library, Frank and Virginia Williams Collection of Lincolniana, and Congressional and Political Research Center (CPRC). Mr. Nolen is also the Liaison from Special Collections (University Archives, Manuscripts, Mississippiana, Rare Books, CPRC, and Grant Presidential Library) to the Library Administration. He has a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Florida and an MLIS from the University of Alabama.
