Author Guidelines
Authors interested in submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Coach Development should carefully review the aims and scope of the journal to ensure appropriate alignment. Submitted papers will be reviewed by the editorial team to confirm they meet the aims and scope prior to sending for peer review. All manuscripts must be submitted through the JCD submission portal and should adhere to the formatting guidelines described below. JCD does NOT accept publications that have been published or submitted for publication in other outlets.
Formatting Guidelines
Manuscript submissions to JCD should be written in English and should employ the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA Style Manual, 7th edition) for citations and references. Manuscripts are limited to 9,000 words (~36 pages, double-spaced) to include figures, tables, and references. Submissions should include a cover page as a separate file that includes:
- Manuscript title
- Names of all authors
- ORCID ID for all authors (if available)
- Affiliation of all authors
- Email address of the corresponding author
- 3-5 keywords for indexing
A second file, that serves as the main document for review, should include the manuscript title to start the paper, an abstract limited to no more than words, the body of the paper, and should conclude with references. All identifying information should be removed from this file.
